Sassy, sexy and soulful, Hannah is the daughter of Muscle Shoals legend, Alabama Hall of Famer, Walt Aldridge.
Hannah is very much a chip off the old block in talent, but carving her own identity and style. Her second album, Gold Rush, is released in June 2017. Mixing her personal life and the sounds of her hometown, Hannah’s songs draw in influences from across the rock genre.
The American South is where writers go to face their fears. Hannah Aldridge doesn’t just dip her pen into the well of the South, the Muscle Shoals native embodies it. With every song, she’s facing down demons of a life once lived from substance abuse to failed relationships and scars from the lashes of the bible belt. As she says herself – “I was born in a crossfire”.
Support tonight is from The Black Feathers who are Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler.
This Gloucestershire duo became aware of a magic between them whilst collaborating on several musical projects, becoming The Black Feathers and life partners in 2012. Americana, Folk, and Acoustic Indie Rock sensibilities coexist comfortably in their musical world, with Hughes’ guitar work buoying the kind of harmonies often only heard in family bands.
“Once in a blue moon, the whole soars far above the sum of its parts. That’s what happens when The Black Feathers perform live”
