Intro to Coding with Python

/Tolbooth

If you have tried, or mastered, coding with Scratch, why not have a go at Python? Or, if you have never tried coding at all, but would like to explore how to design games, software and programs, this is the workshop for you.

Python is a general-purpose computer programming language that allows you to build almost anything, and allows you to work faster than other programming languages like C++ or Java. This workshop is designed as an introduction for beginners and no previous experience is necessary.

During this workshop day, Stirling Libraries Digital Services team will have you really talking to your laptop and you’ll have the chance to create your own short programs. Guaranteed to get you thinking differently…!

Led by Louise Graham and Ray Cramb from Stirling Council Libraries

All workshops are half price to any children/young people who receive a School Clothing Grant or Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA). Please mention this when booking (proof will need to be shown at Box Office when attending on the first day).
