PHOTOGRAPHY – It Caught My Eye

/Tolbooth

Learn how to take better pictures and pick up tips on using professional DSLR cameras and the industry-standard software programme Adobe Creative Suite. This one day workshop will provide participants with an entry level experience in photography which they can then use to expand their knowledge further. Worksheets and resources for further study will be provided.

Through walks outside, learn more about shooting landscape, street and portrait photography. Also tips on professional workflow and how to choose images for display and print.  The day will end with a display of work, the prints from which the participants will take home.

NOTE: Please wear appropriate clothing for walking outdoors

All equipment and materials will be provided but if you have your own camera you are welcome to bring it- please ensure you have charged the batteries and that the memory card is blank.

Each workshop participant will take home two prints of their work. If you would like to keep the images from the workshop please provide a pen drive to save your images on to. This should have at least 2GB of space.

Led by professional photographer and lecturer in photography Lisa Fleming.

All workshops are half price to any children/young people who receive a School Clothing Grant or Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA). Please mention this when booking (proof will need to be shown at Box Office when attending on the first day).
